Peter Noaks – 2003 Series 3 CV8 Monaro

Peter NoaksPeter Noaks has been bringing his cars to Autotech for over five years. So when he purchased a stock standard 2003 Series 3 CV8 Monaro 12 months ago from a local car dealership, he knew exactly who he needed to talk to first about improving the car’s performance.”The Monaro was in immaculate condition, but I knew I would be something to it.”So not long after buying it, Peter brought the car in to show Paul and Ed.”We had a long chat and carefully planned the project so we didn’t waste any time or money.”The biggest modifications were adding a supercharger and upgrading the fuel system.

Chasing 380 kilowatts at the wheels, what Peter likes most most about the modifications is, even with all this increase in power, the Monaro drives like a normal car, but “when you want the power, it’s there”.

Peter said Autotech is not like any other workshop he had dealt with. “I can count on Paul and Ed to say right up front what needs doing and how to do it properly the first time. It’s like this car is as much theirs as it is mine.”

Peter says the fact that he’s happy to do this interview shows how much he appreciates the work Autotech have done for him.

“Modifying cars is my passion in life, and I wouldn’t really trust anyone else other than Autotech.”

Rob Vidovic – 1986 Corvette

Rob Vidovic
Rob Vidovic is very passionate about his cars, especially his 1986 burgundy red 1986 Corvette. So much so, that over the last 22 years he has owned the car, he has upgraded the motor four times. For the latest upgrade Rob imported a new crate motor from America. “I found a stroked small block 454 cubic inch motor in the States which was perfect for the Corvette. All that had to be done was add a new fuel injection system and this is were the boys at Autotech came in.”Eddy and Paul got to work changing the fuel system from multi-point to sequential injection, adding a new Autronic ecu, plus direct fire ignition and upgrading all the brakes and gearbox. With the new fuel injection system the Corvette is now producing 458 kw at the wheels with better fuel economy.“The boys are very thorough,” Rob says expaining why he has been bringing his car to Autotech for so many years. “They don’t leave any loose ends – I trust them completely with all the work I give them to do.”
