Autotech starts tuning Ford XR6 and XR8′s using VCM Suite

Autotech is pleased to announce that the testing of the Ford tuning (including XR6, XR6 Turbo and XR8′s) tuning has been so successful that we can now offer this as a service to all of our customers.

We recently got approximately 15% gain in the mid range on an XR8. This was on a car that already had a cold air induction kit and a quality exhaust 2.5 inch exhaust. We were pleasantly surprised when we got this level of gain on a car with these existing modifications, proving that even with bolt on mods, we can still get good gains in the low end and mid range where you spend most of your time when driving on the street.

Much larger gains can be made from XR6 Turbos with little or no hardware modifications. On our test car, we have seen a gain of 25% in peak power and 30% in the mid range. Performance has turned from nice into awesome especially when looking at acceleration between 60-80kph. It creates a whole new experience that even the manufacturer has recognised by releasing the 310kw FPV version.

Why spend $60,000 on buying a new car when we can get similiar performance from your existing car without losing any of the factory refinement on things like cold start.
