Autotech is recognised by the motorsport community in Canberra as “the shop” to take your car to for modifications and preparation for any motorsport event.
Autotech has been responsible for preparing cars that have a number of notable successes on the race track. Autotech sponsored Evo wins 2010 ACT Rally Championships
Jeff Eastman and Anthony Galdwell have won the 2010 ACT Rally Championships in their Autotech prepared Evolution 3 Mitsubishi Lancer.
Despite the challenges of the 10 race series and the stiff competition, the little Evo 3 proved the be the toughest, best prepared vehicle over some very demanding races.
Jeff would like to thank Richard & Rhonda from Autronic for their support and tech advise. Ross at Devilish racing. Eric at Custom Fabrication. Greg at Pro Engines. Capital Stainless Steel. V-Sport. RalliART. Rachel Bird & Co. And most important Cath Eastman, Jeff’s wife, for her awesome lunches and support. And, of course, the Autotech Racing family pit crew for all their behind the scenes work.
Autotech sponsors Racing Therapy
The team at Autotech have joined Therapy Masters in sponsoring local driver Dave LaMaitre in his team known as Racing Therapy.
Dave runs a KE25 Corolla in the NSW Championship of Improved Production. With a turbo 2L 3SGTE “redtop” motor this places Dave up against everything from 6L V8′s in Commodores and Toronas through to RX7′s, RX3′s, Nissan Skylines, Evo’s and just about everything in between.
Improved Production is a club level class designed to allow limited modifications to existing production sedans to improve their ability to be raced. With some teams going the whole hog and running dog engagement gearboxes, highly tuned motors and some serious brakes it makes for awesome racing.
Autotech is proud to supply a new ECU, Autronic SM4 of course, and tuning services to the bright yellow Corolla which will sees action at Wakefield Park, Eastern Creek and Bathurst.
